St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, Department of Pathology in Houston, Texas has an opening on the night shift for a Histology technician/technologist. The night shift position will be responsible for embedding, microtomy, routine and some special staining. The goal of the laboratory is to have all of the H&E slides completed by 8:00 AM on a daily basis. You will be working as part of a team with 4 other experienced technicians and technologists to handle the approximately 400-500 blocks per night. Salary will be based on experience but with shift differential will exceed $40,000/year.
