[Histonet] shelf life of quantum dots

Dear histonetters,

 I have streptovidin conjugate quantum dots, by which i am going to detect
estrogen receptor. But, its manufacture date is 2004, I am interested to
know that will it work now? I have not done this procedure before it. Shall
I proceed with it or stop?
