[Histonet] Dako Autostainer plus issues

Hi all,
 
Has anyone used the pap pen with the dako autostainer plus to avoid the fluid from shrinking up on the slides and exposing dry portions of tissue?  If so what has been your experience with the pen.  What volumes do you use in the drop zones of your staining protocols?
