[Histonet] Bouin's fixation and paraffin or vibratome sectioning

Hi,

Question about use of Bouin's fix on mid-gestational mouse embryos...We
 fix our ED 10-11 embryos in Bouin's and embed for sectioning, either
 paraffin or vibratome.

What we experience is that the tissues suffer quite a bit of damage, as
 the sections are often ripped. It sometimes seems to us that the Bouin's
 fixed tissue is really dry or even brittle. Do others have a similar
 experience?
