Several companies sell laboratory glassware washers though.

The "rule of thumb" now enforced by the CAP is that any and all pieces of equipment should be used as per the manufacturers' indications and as originally intended, and no dishwasher has been designed to be used in a lab setting, even if they can do a pretty good job in cleaning glassware.
