Tiffany,

I would suggest doubling the Hematoxilyn time if the negative went through an enzyme retrieval as this would inhibit the basophillic staining for your H&E.  Otherwise it is actually just as easy as Rene states below.

Just take the coverslip off, hydrate and stain as usual.
