[Histonet] Alternatives to Weigert's Iron Hematoxylin for Mucin and Trichrom e Staining

Hi Tanisha, remember that 7211 hematoxylin is red (but turns blue when
blued).

You are using Weigert's Iron Hematoxylin because it's grey/black in color
and can be seen when there is a lot of color in a stain.  When looking for a
substitute like this, your best bet will be to stick to the same color.
