I agree with Jeanine. I work as a civilian in a military hospital and I
don't appreciate the "typical civil servant" comment either. And people
tell me I'm ignorant. If you haven't walked in our shoes, then you don't
know

what you're talking about.  Better to keep your mouth closed and have
people think you're ignorant than open it and prove it.

Nothing "typical" at all.  I just understand that as an employer there
may be a bigger picture than just me.  I have worked in hospitals and
also in private business so the civil "servant" comment is unnecessary
and actually pretty demeaning.

Typical civil 'servant' attitude. How many are really free to up and
leave. Smacks of the 'love it or leave it' crowd.
