[Histonet] DAB restain

 Dear Mike:
Beware using bleach and then trying to restain with DAB. We have found
that if we even tried to re-use glass containers that had held DAB and
that we subsequently bleached to inactivate the DAB, the glass absorbed
and retained the bleach and would inactivate our next DAB solution. So
the glass slides might retain the bleach and inactivate. Etc. So I agree
with the previous person, use another chromagen or fluorescence after
bleaching, if it does get rid of any of the staining.
