[Histonet] antibody for E. coli

We have a student that is interested in a general antibody that can be
used to detect all strains of E. coli.  She has samples she wants to
screen for E. coli and then she will do more specific IHC staining
later.  She has expressed an interest in using florescent antibodies.
Would this be the way to go?  Do you have any suggestions on what
antibody she can use for screening?   Thanks in advance for the help.
