Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: The Anatomic Pathology Supervisor directs operations of the technical sections including Histology, Cytology, Pathology Assistants and the Pathology Office. Responsibilities include; managing workflow, maintaining policy and procedure manuals, staff competency assessment, test utilization, fiscal responsibilities, compliance with regulatory standards, formation and implementation of quality monitors for the section, and human resources management according to SMDC guidelines. Promotes the mission and vision of SMDC. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with providers, co-workers and others.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited school of Histotechnology, Ctyotechnology, Clinical Laboratory Scientist or equivalent discipline. Minimum of five years experience in a clinical laboratory. ASCP or equivalent or registry eligible.
Monthly Minimum Salary $4,199.87
