Artery with branch. Probably an interlobar artery with an arcuate artery
branching off at the bottom of the picture.

Subject: [Histonet] An histology puzzle?
I have an image of an H&E stained structure that I want to submit to a
micrograph competition (it is to be judged on artistic rather than
scientific merit!). Does anyone know what it might be?
It was in an FFPE mouse kidney section - but not within the kidney
tissue.
Is it a stucture or an artifact?
Please go to www.flickr.com/photos/sonzer to see it.
Sonya ;-)
