Amy,
I am the only tech in this lab. I waited years for a coverslipper and
stainer. I finally got both! The coverslipper came first (Sakura Tissue
Tek Glas). It was a huge help. Before it arrived I hand coverslipped or,
if I had a large amount of slides, I would pack the slides (in staining
dishes of xylene_) and take then to the clinical lab to use their
automatic coverslipper. So to say my coverslipper is a timesaver is an
understatement!

Subject: [Histonet] Automatic coverslippers

I have another question for the experts out there. How much time does
an automatic coverlipper save the histotech?

Thanks again
