[Histonet] Melanin problem

I don't recall this question, but I would be interested in how you get 
around the problem of epidermal pigmentation if you are looking for 
protein expression in the epidermis; do you bleach the tissue (and if so, 
does that affect antigenicity of the proteins), or can you choose a 
detection chromogen that has a wild color, like a Barney purple color?
