Jeanine - Our lab works closely with the labs of the National Hansen's 
Disease Center.  We modified their protocol and published it in the JOH, 
June 1996, Vol 19 #2.  It's very easy, takes about 45 minutes and have 
little or no background.   If you do not have a copy of the journal, I 
contact me directly and I'll fax you the directions.
