[Histonet] Xylol substitutes

If the xylene is considered to be contaminated, then would that not be the 
case for any other clearant used to replace it?  Do these powers consider it 
to be more acceptable to pay for getting rid of contaminated limonene, for 
example, instead of contaminated xylene?  Is the alcohol disposed of in a 
safe manner as well?  Do they pay for this?  This should be a bigger issue 
than just the cost, surely.
