Sharon, good catch! I didn't even think about that. Depending on the
model you have Heather, you might just need to take off a small adapter
that fits into a slot on the back of the blade holder--it's held in with
two small screws. That's how it is set up on our Microm microtomes.

It will definitely cause problems if you're using a high profile blade
with the low profile set up!
