[Histonet] Nissl stain and shrinking

Hi,

I am trying to develop a way to do nissl stains on PFA fixed brain tissue
without having to use the dehydration (ethanol) and clearing steps (xylene)
steps, just the cresyl violet step. Has anyone tried that before? Do you
have any advise?
