I have used both tape coverslipper and glass (Leica) coverslipper.
We(especially our pathologists)prefer the glass coverslips over tape.

So... you first put on a tape coverslip and then add a glass coverslip?  Is
this done manually or by sequential automated coverslippers?  Isn't this a
little redundant?  Or is it that your pathologists are into double jeopardy?
