[Histonet] michaels fixative

First of all, it is not really a fixative. It is more of a static transport
media that minimizes proteolysis. Although, it does "fix" immunoglobulins in
the tissue, which is needed for Immunofluorescence.
I cannot provide a reference, but I have read that normal saline works as
well, if not better, than Michel's sloution.
Michel's is good for long-term storage (2-3 days), whereas saline is good
for very short periods of time.
