"Light Green" from Biomeda (can be ordered through VWR). It is a
light green cytoplasmic stain, very nice actually!!

>I am doing a peroxidase DAB stain for an antigen that is present
>only in small quantities in the nucleus. I am doing it on rat bone.
>If I counterstain with hematoxylin it covers the DAB stain. What
>else can I use that will only stain the cytoplasm and not the
>nucleus. i thought of methyl green but it too is supposed to stain
>the nucleus. I thought of neutral red but it won't look so good with
>the brown. Suggestions?
