[Histonet] air drying-white sections??

"Chauky white" sections are often an indication of poorly dehydrated tissue
before the antemedium/infiltration step.
How is the microscopic detail in those section? Do you have this problem
in all of your sections? Are they more frequent in a given type of tissue?
Answering to these questions could lead you to the cause of the problem.

I've noticed that when I air dry my sections before drying them some of them are turning a chauky white. Might that indicate anything important. I really have not noticed this before in other places I work. I wipe off as much excess water with a kimwipe prior to letting the sections air dry vertically. Any thoughts.
