[Histonet] Blue spots

Help!  I am seeing blue spots !!!?  I have completed a BDA/DAB reaction
on some rabbit brain tissue.  When I used Cresyl Violet for a
counterstain - I had small blue "ponds" randomly showing up on the
tissue.  I have used the same method for years and had not gotten this
result?  Basic info:  tissue is paraformaldehyde fixed and cut as frozen
sections @ 50 microns. Used same batch of CV that has been used in the
past.  The rest of the tissue looks perfectly fine.  Any ideas as to
what went wrong?
