If you still have trouble, it might be worth looking at the batch number of
the problem slides and trying another lot - contact the suppliers and they
should be able to oblige. Another thing to consider is that any water used
to float out sections must be clean because, if not, any contaminants could
attach to the slide and reduce its effectiveness.
