You are staining for 3 hours....do you mean processing?
What stains are you usning? We do mostly urology specimens here as well. We use Richard Allen and get excellent results. What is your protocol?

We have nice, thinly cut, well stained prostate biopsies (fomalin fixed,
stained on Sakura Tissue Tech with a 3 hour protocol). However, we are
having trouble seeing prominent nucleoli. Any suggestions?
