Hi Andi,
I have a procedure that substitutes 2% Ferric Ammonium Sulfate for the 1%
Uranyl ...we used it all the time in San Diego. I will attach the
procedure. If anyone else needs a copy let me know.

Subject: [Histonet] substitute for Uranyl Nitrate in Snooks retic.
method
I know this was discussed a while back and I have checked the archives
where phosphomolybdic acid and zinc formalin is suggested instead of 1%
Uranyl Nitrate.
Is anyone out there doing this method and what are you using - if you are
using the phosphomolybdic acid, what percentage are you using?
Thanks.
Andi
