Putting an adhesive on positively charged slides
seems rather extravagant. The positive charge is
there to attract the predominantly negatively charged
carboxylate groups of the tissue's structural proteins.
Covering the surface of the glass with a layer of
gelatin or chrome-gelatin (subbing) will occlude the
positive charges that you paid extra for.
