St. Joseph Hospital in Bellingham Washington has an immediate opening for a full time registered histology technician or histotechnologist.  This person must be focused, able to conduct themselves in a professional manner and organize themselves and their work in such a way as to promote accuracy and efficiency.  This person must be self motivated and able to assume a leadership role if necessary. 

Training and Licensure: AA/AS and HT/HTL

Job Description includes:
Embedding, microtomy, routine and special staining, assisting the pathologist in frozen sections, fine needle aspirations, helping cover path assisting duties including gross assisting, order entry, and reference lab send outs. Must be willing to help in assist in autopsies if necessary.
