We have used Vectors Avidin/biotin kits. Now, however, with our
Strepavidin- Biotin methods, we now use their Strepavidin/biotin blocking kit.
I have heard that DAKO's avidin/biotin blocking kit is stronger, more
concentrated in order to block endogenous and unwanted biotins when using
the CSA or tyramide amplification method (TSA) - certainly worth a try.
