Bernadette,
I will be glad to send you the procedure that I have given out in the
microwave workshops that I have given in the past.  What type of instrument
are you using, household or laboratory?  If laboratory, what brand.  I say
this because, Milestone RHS instruments perform the wattage checks a little
different that others.

A few years back I attended a convention taht did a workshop on how to check

your microwave for reproducible tempertures.  I remember having a worksheet 
for that seminar, does anyone have a method they like to share for this 
monitoring?
