[Histonet] Alk Phos Crystals

Hi There

Can anybody shed some light onto the subject of crystals forming 
after the use of BCIP/NBT on alk phos staied tissue. At first when I 
mount the slides, you do not see the precipitate, btu within hours, 
it deveopes. I must add that the tissue is ZINC fixed. As zinc is a 
precippitant, I am not sure where to look for the problem. DAKO has 
no idea!!


This problem has been discussed before, but I cannot recall if it was 
ever resolved.
