[Histonet] Zues-Michel fixative

Erskine,

As I understand it, these two "fixatives" are more like transport mediums.
I use them to get renal bx's to me from outside hospitals so that I can
perform IF testing on them.  They don't "fix" the tissues (this is why they
are good for IF procedures since they are geared for unfixed tissue), but
they preserve them for transport or maybe overnight in a fridge.  I don't
like to keep the bx's in these transport mediums for longer than I have to.

Just remember to rinse out the bx's with a tris buffer thoroughly before you
cryosection them.
