Try calretinin.  If you have a ffpe case to start with, do the calretinin
stain and then compare it to a frozen section to determine the quantity and
position of the positive cells.  We tried it with a polymer detection
system, the staining was pretty good, but have not pursued this any further.

hi netters,
Does anyone out there know of a stain that can be performed for
Hirschprung's without using acetylcholinesterase? I am trying to eliminate
this chemical in our lab. Any response would be greatly appreciated.
