You are right. We do the same thing in our lab to neutralize it. We pour all the
DAB solution in a beaker full of bleach and rinse the flasks and all
"DAB-tainted glassware" with bleach as well.

I always thought addition of bleach neutralises DAB.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
