Hello Laurie,
I use p53 on human tissue.
The antibody is from DakoCytomation used at a 1 :150 dilution with a
colon cancer as a control.
I use DakoCytomations Target Retrieval Solution in a steamer for 40
minutes
Antibody is incubated at Room Temperature for 15 minutes then Dako's
LSAB2 kit for detection.
Hope this helps.

Dear All,
Does anyone have a protocol for doing p53 staining on Formalin Fixed
Paraffin Embedded tissues.
We are trying various methods of antigen retrieval and incubation times
on
canine mammary tumour, and hope to be able to apply the technique to
canine
mast cell tumours.

Thanks for your consideration. Regards, Laurie.
