I have used a product called Treosin for years that contains eosin, phloxine, and orange G. After deparaffination and hematoxylin staining, rinse, differentiate in acid alcohol, rinse, blue in ammonia water, rinse, then go to 95% alcohol, then directly into Treosin for only 15 seconds, then dehydrate in 100% alcohol, clear in xylene, and coverslip.
