Dave,

We've infrequently had to IHC stain over an H&E. Don't bother to destain, it all usually comes out during pretreatment (HIER or enzyme).

Subject: [Histonet] IHC after haematoxylin[Scanned]

One of my colleagues inadvertently stained the batch of IHC slides with HX
for about 3 mins whilst taking them to water prior to IHC. My question is
will this affect subsequent IHC? Do we decolourise etc. Any feedback much
appreciated. Dave.
