Dear Gareth:  
          Mohs surgery is a micrographic invented by Dr, Frederic Mohs.  The main application of MOHS surgery is surgical excision of BCC and SCC carcinomas.  It involves removing layers of cancerous tissue and examination of cancer margin using frozen sections with H and E staining as well as some special staining.
