We just installed two Microm units this week, and LOVE them. We also
have two Leica's. The Leica's are great when they are working, but the
repairs ARE pricey, and happen in spurts. Only time will tell with the
Microm units. Jen

One of the techs in our lab recently got a fully automated Microm and
loves it!

We're preparing to purchase another motorized microtome but wish to
know
if there are any on the market that surpass Leica? Our Leicas are
like
Ferrari's... they're great when they're running but the repairs
are
    frequent and costly.
