Follow up to my reply from a few minutes ago -

Just went to Anatech's web site, and they have a photo of the salamander
glands at http://www.anatechltdusa.com/Innovators/7_Innsummaryofstains.html
Under the Hp stains. It was Harris hematoxylin, Amyloid red, Hp yellow. Most
of the mucins were not identified in the article/picture.

So still awaiting Dick's enlightenment to us.

P.S. No, I don't work for Anatech, nor do I earn financial rewards from
them. I just like their newsletter, as it is colorful and easy for my
students to read and understand and learn.
