I know for a fact that you can get TB from a frozen section. I went through the same scenario, I did not find out the case was positive until it was to late. The TB reaction showed up within a few weeks of the exposure. I then had to take the meds for 9 months. I only had the bug not an active infection. Sheri Blair HT (ASCP)
