[Histonet] museum specimens

     I will be sectioning museum specimens of turtle embryos 
that were initially fixed with buffered formalin and then 
preserved in 70% Ethanol.  They have been in alcohol for the 
last 2-3 years.  Does anybody know a good protocol for 
processing museum specimens?  Do they have to be refixed?  
How well will they take up stain after being in alcohol so 
long?
