Jackie,

Immunohistochemistry for either CD41 or CD61 (platelet glycoproteins) will
do the trick.
CD61 certainly works on FFPE and on AZF-fixed and decalcified bone marrow
cores,
as illustrated in the photo I am sending to you in a separate personal
e-mail.
