  Hi Jennifer,

  Remove the coverslip in xylene and bring the section back through one or
two changes of xylene and absolute alcohol and then into 95% ethanol.
  Leave in ethanol until enough Eosin has come out of the section and then
dehydrate, clear and mount. That should take care of it.

and could reduce the Eosin that way so I wouldn't have to cut any more
