[Histonet] Nuclear-specific counterstain for wholemount mouse mammary gland

Hi Histonetters, 
 
    I need a nuclear-specific counterstain for β-gal (mosaically)
stained wholemount mouse mammary gland.  I would prefer not having to
section this tissue as I am observing gland wide β-gal staining directly
on the fat-cleared wholemount. To date I have been staining with carmine
alum.
