[Histonet] stain for osteoblasts

Does anyone have a protocol for something like this?

Specimen cells are fixed in 10% aqueous formaldehyde, serially
dehydrated, the specimens are embedded in paraffin and cut into 5um
thick cross sections for H&E or von Kossa silver nitrate/alizarin red
staining.

The question is if anyone has a more detailed protocol for staining
for bone formation with osteoblasts fixed inside a polymer (alginate in
this case).

The protocol is wanted by a graduate student in our lab and I am
unfamiliar with working with cells.
Thank you for any assistance with this! John
