[Histonet] Artefact in Technovit embedded sections

Hello to fellow histonetters,
I am processing some canine jaw samples and taking sections of teeth and the
surrounding bone. I am using the Exakt system and embedding in the Technovit
7200.  I am grinding down to a range around 70 - to 100 microns.  Under the
microscope I'm seeing dark areas that look like the plastic may be cracking
all thru the sections.  Could it be that I'm just not getting good
infiltration of the Technovit during processing?  Any insight would be
appreciated.
