[Histonet] NADH-TR stain

Hi everyone, 
I just finished staining some skeletal muscle sections with
NADH-tetrazolium reductase.  It worked great, as usual, but I see some
fibers that are well stained around the outer perimeter with very little
staining in the center of the fiber.  I don't think it's artifact but
wanted to ask people with more experience...  Is there any clinical
significance to this?  Is there anything else I should stain with?  I've
done Oil Red O and the pattern is similar.  As always, thanks for the
help.
