Thanks, Paul. Very interesting! I have used Tech8200 for many years for morphological studies, very successfully, on many species albeit with very poor results for immuno work. Interestingly, for whole- mount fluorochrome, Bgal, DAB- stained specimens it is superb!
 I have tried to etch/ dissolve/ Ag- retrieve  with many chemicals/protocols with inadequate results. If I lower the amount of cross-linker( getting a rather sticky block) the results are better, but never satisfactory/consistent. Any experience with LRWhite for immuno? It's Hydroxyethyl, rather than H.glycol methacrylate.
