[Histonet] Methacarn/Carnoy's storage?

Hi - For how long can methacarn or Carnoy's be stored, once made up? Or 
should I make a fresh batch every time I need some? We'll be using it for 
a few slides (5-10), maybe once a week, and it seems a huge waste to dump 
it every time.
